I’ve spent the better part of the past year sorting out mom’s affairs. In doing so, I stumbled upon her notes for a pattern buried in class instruction files. She came up with the idea for a poncho sweater many years ago, but with all of the other class and sample needs it kept getting pushed to the back burner.
When we decided to add Silky Wool back into our lineup last fall, I knew it would be the perfect yarn for this forgotten design. Mom loved Silky Wool!
Finally, 13 years after its conception Sherry’s Poncho Sweater has finally been brought to life! I chose Charcoal Gray as the main color, and used Mountain Mist for the blanket stitch edging. Mom would have definitely approved.
Come try it on and see it for yourself Friday night at our Fall Extravaganza. Hope you can join us! Party is from 4-8, come & go.
