Let’s Dish

I love a good dishcloth. Whether for the kitchen or bath, knit and crochet cloths are hard to beat and always a welcome gift.

Many moons ago mom and I developed a series of cloth patterns featuring a fine linen yarn that we stocked at that time. Our “Let’s Dish” kits were quite a hit, and a great way to sample new stitch patterns and techniques.

I’ve been keeping my eye out for a new yarn for these kits, and was so excited to discover Lang’s Canapa.

Canapa

This 100% hemp yarn is available in 13 shades. Packaged in 25gm skeins, one skein will make a cloth. What a perfect match! $7.50/skein

  1. I’ve knit several of your Let’s Dish cloths and i love them! Scalloped Lace in Olive would be so pretty!

  2. I’ve been wanting to try a hemp yarn, so I’m stoked! I’m going to foray into crochet for a change, and choose the Shell Stitch cloth in Midnight Blue. Thanks, Keely!

  3. Lacy diamond in mulberry l, or shell stitch in teal would be awesome. I’ve crocheted for many years, and am re-learning how to knit so either kit would be fantastic.
