December 5: Light as a Feather

One of the trends for the season is light and lofty yarn. It seems as if nearly every company had their own take on this look, some pretty, others looking like a matted animal; however Berroco’s AERO won us over!

With an insane amount of yardage and beautifully shifting colors, Aero is the perfect choice for quick and colorful projects that won’t weigh you down. The finished product is incredibly light weight and snuggly soft. This gentle blend of alpaca and wool, with a touch of nylon for strength has 164 yards per cake/$14.95.

Berroco booklet #401 features six designs to knit and crochet with Aero.

Today I’m giving away a cake of Aero, along with the pattern to knit this colorful hat to one lucky reader.

Simply state in the comments which color of Aero you would like to win. You can see the colors here, appropriately sporting cloud like names! Sorry, drawing is over!

  1. So pretty and I haven’t done a hat in a while. Breeze is absolutely amazing I think it would have to be Breeze.

  2. so many beautiful color choices…for me it’s a toss up between Cirrus and Storm, so I’ll pick BREEZE!

  3. Aurora Borealis since seeing the real thing, commemorating it with this yarn would always bring back the awesome memory.

  4. #8015 Cumulus would be my choice.
I’m trying to expand my color choices, after many years of only choosing blues.
