The creation of this sock design has been a labor of love! The design process began back in November, researching and coupling heel and toe designs with the perfect stitch pattern. Countless hours were then spent knitting cable swatch after cable swatch, finally devising the perfect cable panels. Finessing touches included creating an irregular rib at the cuff to seamlessly flow into the cable design, extending the cable panel down the heel as it naturally decreases to merely a few stitches, and smoothly transitioning from the cable pattern to the toe.

While the design process was very challenging and laborious, producing crystal-clear instructions that are easy to follow is always our number one goal. We will walk you step-by-step through the process, including kitchener stitch IN PATTERN! Sounds impossible, but with our Sock Box instructions it is much easier than you think.

Discover the Balbriggan Heel, Queen Victoria’s preferred stocking, along with the spiraling star toe and embark on an adventure in cable knitting with us!
