27 Years and Still Clicking!

I have just returned from a week in the Smokey Mountains with Mason, watching our world change daily, if not hourly while away. Just like everyone else, we are quickly scrambling to adjust to this ever changing situation and will not subject you with a long boring statement as to our COVID policies.

Here is what we do know:

*Effective immediately, we will gladly take phone and online orders but the shop will be closed to the public.

*All classes and gatherings are cancelled until further notice.

*Online orders over $10 will receive FREE SHIPPING. Shop online at swakknit.com/shop

*Phone orders may be picked up in the back alley – just look for the big rooster. Give us a ring at 405.282.8649!

*Phones will be manned from 10am to 3pm, Monday-Saturday

Phone orders may be picked up earlier/later – simply ask and we will be happy to accommodate you. Jeannie and I both live a few minutes away from the shop.

Coincidentally, today marks our 27th year in business. I had planned to kick off a fun “27 Years and Still Clicking” campaign, but instead of a celebration it feels like more of a battle cry for what lies ahead.

During this difficult time, please remember to shop with us online! We have a store fully stocked with needles, accessories, and beautiful yarns. In order for brick-and-mortar retailers to be here for you when this crisis subsides, we need your support.

Despite the difficulties that lie ahead, we already have some fun things in the works to help get everyone through including a special quarantine version of the 24 Days of SWAK. We felt this may be the best way we can help lift some spirits.

Stay tuned! We hope to launch our daily fun by Monday, if not before. Like many of you, I too am scrambling to rearrange my life to accommodate our new reality for the foreseeable weeks, if not months ahead.

I am looking forward to your days of quarantine, but hope it’s less than 24 days. Stay well!

Like you I’m scrambling to find a new normal for a while. Hubby is working from home, me and the kids are hanging out, and I am so looking forward to knitting and reading anything not politics and virus related. I’m trying to come up with some sort of schedule but so far failing miserably. Stay safe and healthy!!!!
