A Trip to the Farm

Join us on Saturday, March 14 for a fun trip to the Rockin’ S-Squared Farm.
We will be joining the Red Farmhouse Fiber crew for the annual Jacob Sheep shearing.
See where your wool comes from, meet the ewes, and get first dibs on this year’s production.
Our excursion begins at the shop at 8am on Saturday, March 14. The First Capital Trolley will take us to the farm in style. We’ll enjoy delicious Missy’s donuts and other goodies on the way – we farm gals will need our energy!
This will be a hands-on excursion, and we’ll get to participate in the shearing hullaballoo, including skirting the fleece.
We’ll also get to meet the sheep and many of the other animals on the farm.
When our morning of farm work concludes, we’ll hop back on the trolley for a delicious lunch at Hensley’s Top Shelf Restaurant before heading back to Guthrie.
If you’d like to come along, sign up today. The cost is $25 and includes chauffeured round-trip trolly ride and breakfast. Participants will also receive 20% off Jacob Sheep yarn when it becomes available in the fall.
