American B.R.A.N.D.

American B.R.A.N.D.A new sock yarn just arrived and you are going to love it! New from HiKoo, American B.R.A.N.D.
Proudly made with wool from Rambouillet sheep grazing in pastures from Montana to Texas, spun in Pennsylvania, and dyed in North Carolina using natural dye materials.
You just can’t get any more American than that! $32/skein, available in twelve gorgeous shades.
Usually when we find “au naturel” products they are a little too natural feeling, if you know what I mean. Not with this yarn! It feels fantastic, so fantastic you will not even realize it is wool.

Our fiber art installation goes up tomorrow. I’ll be sure to post pictures, or if you want to check it out for yourself come up tomorrow afternoon and see it in person…before it gets too crowded. Here is what is coming to Guthrie this weekend –

This was the crowd at the Gentlemen of the Road Stopover in Troy, Ohio last weekend. To give you an idea of how huge this event is – the expected crowd is at least 4 times the population of Guthrie, 4 times the seating capacity of the Ford Center, and 10 times the size of the Bluegrass festival. It will be a wild and interesting weekend!

I’m so happy to see SWAK carrying a sock yarn in an “au naturel” fiber in solid colors! I especially like the fact that natural dye materials have been used also. I’ll be checking it out next time I’m at SWAK.
