I’ve been baking and cooking my whole life starting with wanting an easy bake oven at age 5. (Now I have a real oven).

I prefer to be the chef and have since I can remember. Thank you for the downloadable recipe cards. I love to try new things.

I used to love cooking back in the day…these days I would rather be the guest diner.

I really don't like to cook or cleanup. But I will contribute a honey baked ham and will clean up to be polite.

I commented, but it didn't show up. Basically I like both, depending on the occasion and food.

I was the chief cook after mom for family dinner for a number of years. About 3-4 years ago my son who is an excellent fearless cook took over Thanksgiving so my major now is Christmas dinner. However, I also love to eat. FYI i used the ginger peach tea with almond at my wedding reception ten years ago. My husband is exceptional at clean up so it all works out fine!

I prefer to bake rather than cook. This time of year I love to bake Christmas cookies using recipes handed down by my grandmother. She also taught me to “clean as you go so dishes don’t pile up in the sink.” I don’t mind cleaning because it helps settle the meal I just ate.

I enjoy baking; general cooking -- not so much. Since my other half retired a couple years ago, he's been helping with the cooking. So I guess I'd have to say chef as well as diner. Thanks for the collection of recipes!

Having had the experience of Christmas Eve dinner with Keely, I am happy to step aside & be the guest. I’ll even clean up!

I love cooking, especially baking. I learned to make pies sitting on the counter as a toddler, "helping." Homemade vanilla would be much appreciated.

While my preference is to be the diner, I do cook for my husband and I all the time. I do like to try different recipes because I tend to get in a rut just cooking for two.

I’d rather be the diner. I’m not much of a cook.

Thank you for the recipes.

I really enjoy both being the cook and being the recipient. It depends on who is cooking for me.

I have mostly been the chef until 5 years ago when my daughters started taking over those duties.
I love to cook and bake, but now I like to be pampered.

I've been the chief cook & bottle-washer for almost all my life. My mom had me cooking since I was 9 years old. I think it's harder to cook for two than it was for eight.
I treasure those moments when I can be the guest and have no clean up duties.
