Brrrr!
Baby it’s cold outside! Fortunately we just unpacked a fabulous trunk show from Blue Sky Fibers that will keep you warm.
Two great alpaca yarns are featured in this show: TECHNOÂ and BULKY.
Luxurious and lofty, TECHNO is one of our favorite yarns yet! Bulky, yet light as a feather featuring baby alpaca whipped up and encased in silk. Available in five gorgeous natural shades.
BULKY is a Blue Sky classic blend of alpaca and wool that works up in a flash! Put on your snow boots, come nab a few skeins and you seriously can whip up one of these cute hats before the snow melts. Available in twenty-four natural and dyed shades.
The piece that has us all in a flurry is this gorgeous Moscow Coat. Knit with a combination of TECHNO and BULKY, this statement piece is a work of art. The coat is worked mainly with TECHNO. Honestly, the lightness and loft of the TECHNO yarn makes this coat. BULKY is used at the waist and for the removable cowl.
Naturally Blue Sky has a great selection of classic yet stylish designs for both of these beautiful yarns.
I also have several FREE patterns featuring BULKY and TECHNO to share with you. Please note that TECHNO is now only available in natural shades. Simply click on the photos below to download your free pattern.
And just because Christmas is over, doesn’t mean the fun give-aways are over!
Today I’m giving away a Frosty Cowl kit. Simply comment with what color of BULKY you’d like to win. You can see the colors here. I’ll randomly select one winner. You have until Saturday at midnight.
Please note: all prizes must be picked up by 2/28/17. We do not ship prizes.

06.01.2017 at 18:58I thought I might choose a grey, and make a cowl for my brother. But then I saw marine, and that’s definitely my 1st choice!

06.01.2017 at 19:44Claret – I like my yarns like I like my wines: deep red! But Coyote is good, too.
But oh, that coat! Wow!

06.01.2017 at 20:59I wish I knew how to make one of those! Especially the coat! But Keely if you remember I’m not too talented when it comes to knitting or crocheting! In fact I have no idea how to do either!
