We love sheep! Without them we’d have no wool, plus they’re pretty darn cute.
Two little Jacob Sheep paid us a visit earlier this fall and that was really fun. Fortunately Mason didn’t ask Santa for a sheep this year. We don’t exactly live on a farm.
Mason and I love to watch Shaun the Sheep. It is a claymation television show from the UK. I have to admit, it is hilarious. So we were very glad to hear they are making a Shaun the Sheep movie.
So if you’re looking for something to watch with children that doesn’t make your head want to explode, I highly recommend this show. Here’s the upcoming movie trailer:
Unfortunately we’ll have to wait until spring before it hits the theaters. We usually take in a movie or two over Christmas break. I’ve already been informed we have to go see Big Hero 6. Have no clue what that is about, guess I’ll find out when we get there. And I’d like to go see Annie. I haven’t got to see anything but G and PG movies at the theater in years. Welcome to mommy-hood.
Today I have a couple of sheepy treats for you.
Two free patterns featuring Jacob sheep yarn from Red Farmhouse Fibers.
Download the Shepherdess Shawl and Jacob’s Hat patterns today, for they will be gone tomorrow.
I’m giving away a skein of Jacob sheep yarn from Red Farmhouse Fibers!
What movie or movies are on your list to see during the holiday season? I’ll randomly select one lucky participant to win a skein of this fabulous wool.
