December 18: le Cœur Yarns
Earlier this fall we launched our own line of hand painted yarns. We’ve been in such a whirl, that I’ve barely had time to tell you more.
Currently the line contains three luscious yarns:
Snug
This snuggly blend of alpaca and merino knits at a worsted gauge, and is dyed in both color blocked and nearly solid shades.
Cheeky
A lightly textured wool/mohair blend, presented in blended and nearly solid shades and works at a heavy worsted gauge.
Big
Superwash bulky merino, uniquely spray dyed for a fabulous layered effect.
You can now peruse the different shades of each yarn online!
What makes these yarns unique is the hand application of color to each skein, which is quite an arduous process. The colors are carefully applied for maximum effect.
There are also some great patterns to accompany these yarns, with more in the works!
Today we’re giving away two skeins of le Cœur yarn to one lucky winner. Go over and check out the yarns/colors, then come back and leave a comment with your favorites.

18.12.2015 at 07:46I purchased the Big in “Pinky” to knit a gift scarf. It knits beautifully and feels wonderful. Now I would like to try Cheeky. The yellow and blue is a perfect color combo for me, as yellow is my favorite color.

18.12.2015 at 10:21Well…I thought I commented before, but I must have navigated off the page before posting! Lol. The cheeky seagreen is a nice shade and the sandstone and charcoal are great shades too. The sunshine Big is a great gold. The Snug sari and gypsy are great and the fire/wine/navy too. Hard to just choose three, so many great colors!

18.12.2015 at 19:05I’m currently knitting the “Fanny” shawl with Cheeky in plum spice and eggplant. I’d love to try Snug in beach with the aqua or teal. Big in breeze looks really nice too. Thank you Keely for the 24-Days of SWAK.

18.12.2015 at 19:13I’m liking coastal & beach in the cheeky. After seeing & getting my feet wet in the Pacific Ocean (South of San Francisco) for the first time earlier this year, I’ve been attracted to the soothing cool color combinations. I’m taking it as a sign I need a beach vacation!
