Paradise in Conflict
It is easy to see why the paradisiacal, prismatic Kashmir valley is caught in the middle of a conflict between India, Pakistan, and China.
Cashmere is the luxurious wool from the cashmere goat, found in the Kashmir region of India and Pakistan.
Kashmir Mono is an incredibly soft, fingering weight pure cashmere from Urth Yarns. Hand dyed in incredibly vibrant monochromatic shades, you will absolutely love working with this yarn.
Kashmir Mono is available in sixteen gorgeous shades.
I have several one-skein patterns to share with you today courtesy of Urth Yarns. Simply click on the images below to download each pattern:
We currently have the Kashimi shawl on display at the shop. It is beautiful!
It’s time for our first give-away! If I were Oprah, I’d host a private concert for each of you with Led Zeppelin held in a ski resort in the Kashmir valley. Unfortunately I do not have her connections or resources.
ONE LUCKY READER will win a skein of KASHMIR MONO. Simply leave a comment on this post with which shade you would like to win. You can see the color numbers at the link below:
You have until midnight tonight! Check back tomorrow to see who wins.
