December 24: Merry Christmas to All

And now we’ve come to the final installment of this year’s 24 Days of SWAK.
I want to thank each and every one of you for reading along, and for your patronage throughout the year. Next year will be our twenty-third year, and it is the people who come through our door that keep us going from year to year. We truly appreciate you.
I am also blessed to have a fabulous staff, and don’t know what I’d do without them. Anna has been by my side for many years, and has helped me out in a jam more times than I can count. I’m also happy to report that Lori has emerged from babysitting her new adorable grandson, and is back in action. She’ll be around quite a bit during the winter school break, but will make an appearance from time-to-time as well. I’ve been calling her return a Christmas Miracle! So glad to have her back.
Without these two, I wouldn’t have been able to go to the ballet with my boys, make a mountain of caramel corn, decorate Christmas cookies or build a gingerbread village with Mason. If you haven’t seen much of me since last week, these are just a few of the reasons why!
Angels for MomsI dropped off a sleigh full of gifts at the Bethel Foundation yesterday morning for our adopted family. A huge thank you to all of you who pitched in with your generous donations. We raised enough to purchase everything on the children’s wish lists, and were able to provide mom with $200 in gift cards to purchase other necessities she might need.
And as promised, we are giving away a $100 SWAK gift card to one of our Angels for Moms supporters. Without further adieu, our big winner is:

We’ll have your gift card ready for you to pick up on December 26. Congratulations!
Never fear, the SWAK NEWS fun keeps going. Although we don’t post daily, we frequently have cool things to tell you about throughout the year. Stay tuned…we’re looking forward to the new year!
We are closed today and tomorrow, but will be back in action on Saturday to kick off our After Christmas Sale. Hope to see you then.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you also. What a handsome son! Keely, you are 100% correct with your priorities and the time w/your precious family.
A HUGE THANK YOU also for the gift card. This truly brings a smile to my face, as this Christmas I will be totally alone and I do mean “totally” so no gifts under the tree for me. You truly “made my day”. I’m going to volunteer both today and tomorrow to take my focus off of not having family or friends to spend Christmas with, but you have been a blessing. Thank you!

You should have told us sooner I know there are a lot of us with room in our hearts and under our trees for fellow knitters.
