December 7 – Flicker

We are loving this new yarn we added this fall from Berroco.  It is called Flicker, a light-as-air chainette yarn with a touch of metallic.

It was time to update our Mulberry Merino Cowl pattern since we’ve retired that yarn, and thought it would be a perfect design to show off the Flicker.  This pattern is our gift for you today.  This quick and easy cowl takes 2 skeins of Flicker.  We’ll be keeping this one around as a free pattern so there’s no rush to download it today.

We received 2 new styles from Comfy USA today.  I didn’t expect anything new until January so this was quite a treat!  They’re already walking out the door so I expect they’ll go quick.  The striped tunic is a pale aqua and black (the aqua didn’t show up very well in the picture).  Photography isn’t one of my skills.
I’m off to sew, although I’d rather be knitting.  I have the upper part of the jacket complete and lined.  Once I hand sew the sleeve hems, I have a 10 piece lower peplum to do.  I told you it was complex!

Oooh, warm and posh! What a combination. I’m thinking Flicker color: Giselle 3337 for the perfect Christmas/NY accessory!

Thanks! I should have that color in stock. The link to the pattern wasn’t working, but it’s fixed now.
