This weekend’s weather gave new meaning to Small Business Saturday – it was more like Very Little Business Saturday and that wasn’t exactly the plan. But with the icy roads, power outages, and pesky branches falling on top of our cars (yes, this happened to me), hardly anyone wanted to leave their nice cozy house.
It seems such a shame to let our Shop Small doodads go to waste, so we’re having a do-over this Saturday!
Shop Small 2.0 – Saturday, December 5
Free tote bag with purchase of $75 or more, while supplies last
Unlike Hollywood sequels, Shop Small 2.0 will be better than the original. Our do-over coincides with our Holiday Tea so we’ll have tasty treats and a delightful party. We’re also kicking off our Angels for Moms program. Those participating will receive a handmade ornament plus a chance to win a fun door prize.
We’ve adopted four children and plan on giving them a very Merry Christmas. Without our help, their tree will be bare. So now through next Saturday we have this special deal for you!
- 10% off with donation of $10 or more
- 15% off with donation of $25 or more
- 20% off with donation of $50 or more
You will also be entered to win a $100 SWAK gift card, with one entry for every dollar donated. You may also donate gift cards or purchase one of the items on their wish-list. I posted about our family and their needs a few weeks ago, so click here for the full skinny.
December is jam-packed full of holiday goings-on! This is the agenda just for the upcoming week:
Monday, November 30
•Last day to comment on the previous blog post (we’re giving away a tote bag, so don’t miss out)
•Angels for Moms promotion begins – donate and save!
Tuesday, December 1
•24 Days of SWAK begins and I have lots of fun things in store for you!
Thursday, December 3
•The first Holiday Tea party. Come join us for Christmas cheer! 11am to 1pm
Saturday, December 5
•Shop Small 2.0
•Beginner Bunch do-over, so don’t be sad if you couldn’t come because of the weather
•Guthrie’s Territorial Christmas Celebration’s Opening Night begins at 5pm (also a do-over, but will be better without the ice!)
In other news, we took advantage of the cold, quiet weekend and gave the gals in the front window a holiday makeover.
When it dries out a bit we’ll tackle the outdoor decor.
