Happy New Year!

I’ve been a bit quiet for the past two weeks.  Here’s why-

We’ve been a bit busy doing fun things like baking cookies in his new easy bake oven. His father took him to see Santa this year, so Santa brought roller skates, bow & arrow, and a BB gun. It’s a miracle we haven’t made a trip to the ER…yet.

And I’m happy to report that Mr. SWAK came through and I now own not only one but TWO le Creuset pans. My Christmas Eve dinner was also a success. The only wild card on the menu was the Spinach Gratin in that I had never made it before. It was a big hit! I highly recommend it for your next dinner, and it doesn’t have to be a fancy one either.
School starts Monday and I’m ready to get back to work. My office is a disaster! I have managed a bit of post-Christmas productivity.
Multi Cotton
This colorful cotton just arrived from Blue Sky Alpaca. Multi Cotton is a 100% organic cotton and you’re going to flip when you see what I’m knitting with it now –
Miss Savannah Bow
Isn’t this adorable? The Miss Savannah Bow is a free download from Blue Sky Alpacas. If you don’t have any wee ones to knit for, check out this fabulous Elizabeth Cowl, also free from Blue Sky.

Get ready.  As soon as I can get back to work full time, I have a bunch of fabulous stuff in the works. 2013 is going to be an amazing year at SWAK!
