Holiday Social

Saturday, November 30 ~ 11am to 3pm, come & go

We would thoroughly enjoy the pleasure of your company…

Holiday Social $40

Includes one skein Premium Draft yarn from Brew City in jolly holiday shades, handmade Christmas Cracker filled with unique goodies, high tea, hot chocolate bar, delectable delights, and a thoroughly festive time. Sign up to reserve your spot.

Festivities continue into the evening hour with Guthrie’s Territorial Christmas Opening Night. A promenade of illuminated cars and floats commences at six in the evening along Oklahoma Avenue, followed by the Territorial Governor inaugural ceremony.

We are really getting excited for the Christmas Season. I recently ordered elaborate Victorian dresses for us to wear this season. When we first moved downtown, everyone expected us to dress up like grannies, sitting in rocking chairs knitting for the Victorian Walk. This image was completely counter to our efforts to rebrand knitting and crochet away from the “old lady” stereotype, so sporting anything less than ultra modern was never a consideration.

The past few years Victorian has become hip again, partially thanks to the steampunk movement and younger energy revitalizing Guthrie’s holiday events.

You will be able to catch us in our Victorian garb during the Holiday Soirée and both Victorian Walks. No one does the holidays like Guthrie, so plan a visit this season for some holiday cheer!
