We just finished giving the blog a long overdue makeover! Our new look will give us lots of new options, and Lori will be posting fun things for you all as well.
Be sure to bookmark the location of our new blog so you don’t miss out. Our old blog will still be accessible if you want to look back at any of the old posts.
We will be retiring our Online Classroom, but you can find the best of those posts linked in the helpful videos page above. Instead of a separate blog, we will incorporate future informative tidbits into our swak news blog.
The yarns from Classic Elite’s MountainTop Collection rolled through the door this morning. Blackthorn, Chalet, Crestone, Vail and Vista are all in stock now. We also received several colors of Alpaca Sox.
You may be thinking “hey, Keely why aren’t you linking these yarns to your site“. Well you see, giving the blog a makeover is the easy-peasy part. Next on the agenda is to totally rebuild the shopping area from scratch. In order to carve out the time to do this, I am not updating our existing site in the interim. I plan to get moving on it sometime this week, and once I get going it shouldn’t take that long. It will be exciting when it is finished!
We have lots of things to look forward to this week. In addition to the new yarns that just rolled in, also set to arrive are:
Comfy USA – get ready for this amazing clothing line. You are going to freak!
Funky scarf yarns from Berroco
And don’t forget about the Party of Color, this Saturday from 10-2. We’ll have a fabulous showing of yarns and kits from one of our favorite yarn reps! He’ll be here with gorgeous throw and scarf kits from Mountain Color Yarn, along with samples of full line of fall yarns from Mountain Colors, Classic Elite,Colinette and many more.
Additionally, don’t miss out on Saturday’s class for this beautiful Susanna Shawlette. A great introduction to lace knitting, worked in a fun yarn made from recycled blue jeans.
Class is this Saturday from 10-3.
Guthrie’s homecoming parade is this Friday afternoon at 2pm, so if you are planning a trip to see us you may want to park in back and use the rear entrance. Mason’s kindergarten class will be coming uptown for the parade so this should be fun.
Like I said, it is going to be a busy week!
