Happy Tuesday! We’ve got lots to cover today with new yarn from Noro, new tools and notions, wallets from Joy Susan, a new Rowan sample and more!

This week we got more Penny Wallets from one of our favorite bag makers, Joy Susan. These mini travel wallets are perfect for when you want to go light – take your ID, a few important cards, and a bit of cash or change in a zip pocket and you’re ready to go!

We’ve been waiting for ages, but we’re excited that our TKB cords have finally arrived all the way from Finland! These hollow cables are perfect to use as stitch holders. Simply press the end of the cable on to the tip of the needle and gently slip the stitches to the cable for hold, and vice versa for placing the stitches back on to the needles. These have so many uses! Make trying on garments a snap when you put the sleeves or body on cables. Want to steal a needle for a new project? Park your current project on these cords and they’ll be waiting for you when you get back! Each set includes 3 cables and we’ve got them available in a whole rainbow of colors.

This week we finally got another delightful new yarn from Noro. Yukata is a sportweight squishy yarn named for the “summer solstice”. This delightful loosely-plied blend of Cotton/Silk/Wool/Viscose feels as good to wear as it does sliding through your fingers while you are knitting and crocheting, and is sure to become a favorite for your warm weather projects. Sample knitter Cery just brought in a lovely new knit! The pattern is Free from Magazine 71, a Vibe Ulrick design. We used Rowan Cotton Cashmere, and the finished project is absolutely heavenly. If you’d like to try on the sample, or start your own, we’re here to help!
