A delicious and easy to make dish –Keely
- 16oz package black beans
- ½ cup brown rice
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ⅛ tsp season salt
- ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
- ¾ cup sliced celery
- 3 to 4 sliced carrots
- 1 TBS chopped parsley
- 6 drops Tobasco
- 2 – 48oz cans chicken broth
Sort and rinse beans, then soak overnight.
Drain beans, and combine all ingredients in a large stockpot.
Bring to a slow boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 6-8 hours.
This dish works great in an InstaPot!
Soak beans overnight, combine all ingredients into the InstaPot ADDING ONLY ONE 48oz can of chicken broth. Cook on high pressure for 35 minutes.
