Ingredients

Meatloaf

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • several good shakes of salt & pepper
  • 1 TBS dried minced onion
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 4 oz (½ can) tomato sauce

Sauce

  • 3 TBS brown sugar
  • 2 TBS mustard
  • 2 TBS worchestershire
  • 3 TBS cider vinegar
  • 8oz can tomato sauce

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350º

 

Combine all meatloaf ingredients and form into a loaf.

 

Whisk sauce ingredients together and pour over loaf. Bake uncovered for 1 ½ hours.

Tips

Freezes beautifully! I usually make a double batch and freeze one loaf. Thaw the frozen loaf, mix up a fresh batch of sauce, and toss it in the oven.
