Strawberry Lemonade

This summertime drink is delicious year-round!


  • 2 cups Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 ½ cups fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 6 large lemons)


Partially thaw strawberries.


In sauce pan, simmer sugar with 1 cup of water cooking until dissolved.


Pour part of dissolved sugar mixture over strawberries to moisten.


Purée strawberries in food processor or blender. Add remainder of sugar mixture, strain, and set aside to cool.


Strain lemon juice to remove excess pulp and seeds. Place in 2 quart pitcher with strawberry mixture and 3 cups of cold water. Stir well.  Fill with ice and serve.


Can be prepared ahead of time by not adding ice until time to serve.
