Rowan Magazine 67: Twinsets

Rowan Magazine 67 features two stories – ‘Twinsets’ and ‘Crochet’.

Today we’ll take a look at the Twinsets, with a contemporary twist on this traditional concept.

Sartre and Beauvoir

From designer Georgia Farrell: SARTRE, a triangular shawl and BEAUVOIR, a raglan pullover worked with FINE LACE and KIDSILK HAZE

Lennon and Ono

From designer Lisa Richardson: LENNON, a cable rib top and ONO, a coordinating scarf worked with SOFTYAK DK.

Frida and Diego

From designer Martin Storey: FRIDA, a fair isle cardigan and DIEGO, a short sleeve pullover worked with SUMMERLITE 4ply.

Hepburn and Tracy

From designers ARNE & CARLOS: HEPBURN, a cardigan and TRACY, a sleeveless pullover worked with COTTON CASHMERE.

Kurt and Goldie

From designer Lisa Richardson: KURT, a striped pullover and GOLDIE, a crochet skirt worked with FINE LACE.

Jack and Ennis

From designer Martin Storey: JACK, a short sleeve cardigan and ENNIS, a short sleeve top both featuring a floral edging worked with FINE LACE and KIDSILK HAZE.

Bowie and Iman

From designer Lisa Richardson: IMAN, lace wrap and BOWIE, a short sleeve top with flowing lace sleeves worked with FINE LACE.

Adele and Emma

From designer Brandon Mably: ADELE, a cropped cardigan and EMMA, a sleeveless top featuring a bold geometric design worked with COTTON GLACE.

Portia and Ellen

From designer Kaffe Fassett: PORTIA, a long jacket and ELLEN, a sleeveless top featuring a colorful fair isle design worked with COTTON GLACE.

June and Johnny

From Quail Studio: JUNE, an oversized openwork jacket and JOHNNY, a sleeveless tank worked with SUMMERLITE 4ply and KIDSILK HAZE.

Hans and Sophie

From designer Grace Jones: HANS, an oversized tunic and SOPHIE, a striped dress worked with SUMMERLITE DK.

Earhart

From designer Annika Andrea Wolke: EARHART, a colorful shawl worked with FINE LACE and KIDSILK HAZE. It’s not exactly a twinset, but I guess Earhart was an independent woman who flew alone.

Tomorrow I’ll share the second part of Magazine 67 filled with an inspiring collection of designs to CROCHET!

I leave you with a video showing the behind-the-scenes photography of this beautiful magazine.
