In other news, this is the current view from our back door:
We are currently surrounded on 2 sides by a carnival. Guthrie’s annual 89’er celebration is in full swing. The carnival opens tonight. So far traffic and parking are tricky but manageable. I fully expect this to change starting on Friday when they shut down Oklahoma for a car show, followed by a 2 hour parade on Saturday. Unless you have the capability to beam yourself in, I’m not sure how anyone is going to get anywhere downtown.
So if you’d like to avoid getting caught in the middle of a 3-ring
circus carnival, come see us today or tomorrow, or wait until Monday. If you’re adventurous, don’t worry. We’ll be here throughout the madness. Plus we’ll have a carnival and one heck-of-a-parade for you too!
