Spring Break (literally)

Feels like Spring has taken a break. Brrr, it is cold outside! Despite the cold, we’ve been busy doing springy things.
I’ve been on mommy duty, keeping a wiggly boy entertained during spring break. We took advantage of the few days of warm weather just as spring break began and did some fun things. Mason caught his first fish, we went to the zoo, saw a movie, ate French food for brunch, and bought a new suit. And no, I wasn’t the one who took him fishing. That falls under dad duty.

I managed to get some springy things knit, despite all of this fun.
SeabrookVersa Scarf
The vest pattern is free online @ Berroco and is knit from their Captiva yarn. It is nice to work with and has a nice drape.
The scarf is one of our original designs. I wanted something that would show off Berroco’s unique Versa yarn and this self-fringed scarf does the trick!

We also have four fantastic spring trunk shows on display through this Saturday.
Currently on display are all garments and accessories shown in these Classic Elite booklets:

Come in and check out these garments and accessories while they’re here. They are always more fabulous in person!
