Spring is just around the corner, and I know everyone is enjoying the warmer weather.
DanDoh is one of my favorite yarn lines and designs for warm-weather garments and accessories. Designer Yumiko Alexander creates simple yet interesting pieces that are absolutely stunning, worked with unique Japanese silk, cotton, and linen.
Our sample knitters have been busy whipping out new samples for spring, and we’re quite thrilled with this trio of DanDoh designs.
MEADOW’S NIGHT, an oversized cowl, works up quickly with 2 strands of COTTON FINE. We especially like the edging detail and the unique crunchy feel of this fine cotton tape. Christina did a fabulous job!
Christina also knit this asymmetrical cowl – she’s been quite busy! HANA is worked with LINEN, and the buttons are purely decorative.
Courtnie, a new addition to our sample knitting team, did a beautiful job on this summer tee. Worked sideways with SILK+, MEANDER features a unique eyelet-cable design that is continued onto the back.
DanDoh yarns are incredibly unique, perfect for spring/summer, with a large portfolio of fresh designs to knit and crochet.
We recently hosted a gals-night-out for our sample knitters at 602 Bistro at the Dominion House. These ladies do outstanding work and I can’t wait to show you more of their creations!
