Trunk Show Snafu

Thanks to Hurricane Sandy and a minor scheduling problem, our mega trunk show isn’t as mega as I had hoped.  I can’t complain.  When I think what everyone on the east coast is going through, trunk show issues seem rather insignificant.
The show still is quite impressive.  We have the samples from five different Classic Elite pattern booklets including Ebony & Ivory, Blackthorn, Stonegate, Canterbury and Bon Hiver.

These shows will be on display through Saturday, November 17.
The other three shows have been delayed until Thanksgiving weekend.  And given the holiday shipping situation, some may be here by November 23 but I’m not banking on seeing them until November 27.  These trunk shows for Accents 2, Chill Chasers, and Road Not Taken will be on display from whenever they arrive through Saturday, December 8.

Don’t forget our Tipsy Artist paint party this Thursday at 6pm.  It is going to be a blast! We still have some openings so give us a shout or sign up online if you are interested.

In other news, I have some help!  Well, on Saturdays at least.  Kary felt sorry for me and offered to help me out on Saturdays until Lori returns.  Many of you already know Kary, she’s worked for us on and off for years.  I was so glad to see her on Saturday!
Mason was the cutest little Saint Patrick in the All Saints’ Day parade at school last week.

And Ina Garten’s new cookbook arrived last week. I’ve already been cooking from it, and have come up with a fabulous menu for our Barefoot Knitting party on Friday, November 16.  Mark your calendars because it is going to be a deliciously fun evening!
