We have a bunch of trunk shows on display to tell you about, in fact we have over three dozen garments and accessories on display from Classic Elite Yarns.
A picture says a thousand words, so let me just show you what I’m talking about.
And that’s just the garments, shawls and scarves. We also have a ton of hats, and mitts too!
These samples are from these four Classic Elite pattern booklets:
Portraits, featuring a dozen different Classic Elite yarns including the new Chateau, which is basically Chalet in fun colors.
Soft & Cozy, with designs in Chalet, everyone’s favorite squishy soft yarn.
Favorite Hats, featuring hats to knit for guys and gals in a variety of Classic Elite yarns.
Chateau yarn has yet to arrive, but is on its way – we hope to see it next week. These shows will be on display through December 7. Come up and check them out while they’re here!
In other news, we had a fabulous time last weekend at our Guthrie Getaway with Alissa Barton. Unfortunately I was too busy cooking to take many pictures.
The class was fantastic, and I don’t think anyone went home hungry. The facility where we hosted the weekend is absolutely incredible. It is like a private, luxurious compound hidden away smack-dab in the center of historic downtown Guthrie. This is where Mumford & Sons stayed during the Gentlemen of the Road tour, in fact I slept in the same bed as Marcus Mumford. He gave the owner a signed guitar that he now has displayed among with his collection.
We’ve also been busy rearranging the store, and getting it ready for Christmas. I also bought a bunch of new yarn for spring (yes spring!) that will be arriving in the next week or so. Can you believe it? It’s been a very busy week.
Is every one ready for a snow tomorrow? I see some hot chocolate in my very near future. Maybe we’ll even get a snow day on Monday – I know Mason hopes so!
